I hope you all have a lovely weekend filled with some fun. I’m going to try really hard to finish up the turtles and spend a bit of time on my Topiary shawl, which has been rather neglected lately. The fabric that I’m using for the turtles is a 4.7 ” wide, 28 count white linen with green
checkered border from Wichelt which I purchased from my local needlework shop – Thread & Eye. I know it’s out of stock there at the moment, but Kathy is very good at suggesting substitutes. The weather is starting to turn cool so the coffee pot has been filled an extra time and the quilts are ready for some time on the couch. Please leave me a comment and tell me what you’ll be working on this weekend!

I’m working on building an outhouse this weekend!
I can’t believe how quickly Turtles stitched up! Go you!!
I’ll be out and about visiting friends this weekend, but I am taking along Ardent (by Janina Kallio). I only have 16 more rows of garter to go.
How many more turtles do you have to go? That is such a cute project!
It has been far too long since I have been able to pick up my stitching. Looking forward to a quieter house this week, so I can sneak in some stitch time.
Four more to go and then done! I know you’ll feel better when the guests are gone and you get a bit of stitching time. Puts everything right again!
that is a beautiful looking shawl! love the colour you have chosen, brings out the pattern much more than the cream in the original
the turtles are cute too!
thanx for sharing
