Another week has completely flown by. I blinked, and it was Friday again. I fully intend to stay in my PJ’s this weekend unless I’m walking the dog. The other rather large chore I need to accomplish is to put away a mountain of stuff in my bedroom that was piled up on a tiled area while the flooring was installed this summer. I’ll be honest, most of it is my stash and WIPS that are in various states of completion. Wish me luck and if you don’t hear from me on Monday – send a search party.
As I go through my patterns, there are a few that I know I will never stitch – I intend to offer up some stuff here periodically as I make the tough decisionย to let a few things go. It goes against my nature, but really – I’ll never stitch it all. Or will I? Hmmm…..
First up is a small Lizzie Kate snippet “Be Silly”. ย The small heart charm is still with the pattern tucked inside. Leave me a comment and I’ll have Nicholas pull a name from a hat. Doesn’t matter where you live, but do please leave me your email address in your comment and let me know also what country you’re visiting me from, because I find that really interesting! I’ll choose a name next Friday (Oct. 2)
i know how those things can accumulate….did a little destashing a while ago (you’d never know now, though!!! eeep!)
Thanks for the opportunity. I was only thinking that I would love a little stitch to complete. I’m from a town calld Springwood. It is in the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia. I’m very lucky to live in such a gorgeous place.

I had to look up where you live because I would dearly love to visit Australia and I see that a few years ago your beautiful town suffered from forest fires. I hope you were not directly affected – it looked quite terrible. You do live in a stunning place!
Yes, it was our town that had the bad bushfires two years ago. We back onto bush and had fire in our street but we only lost a few minor things- fences, trampolines and back decks. We were very lucky as 200 of our community lost their homes. It was unbelievable that no lives were lost.
However the bush has restored itself and it is as gorgeous as ever. Right now it’s 7.00am and the sun is shining and I hear much birdsong.
That is incredible that everyone stayed safe! It is 10pm here now and all of our birds are sleeping ๐

Hello in SWA! I’m a huge fan of Masterchef Australia and one day would so love to visit your beautiful country! I agree, sometimes the WIP on the brain is mind boggling ๐
Just noticed your husband’s comment, so cute. I am not very far, I live in the French River area (north of you). I first became aware of your blog from “seeing” you on Rhonda’s wonderful ‘Down to Earth’ blog. I was so excited to see another ontarian. Your blog has quickly becoming a favourite. Thank you for the chance to win your give away.
