It’s been a few weeks since I’ve participated in Ginny’s yarn along, most likely because I am still working on the white baby blanket that is growing slowly and looks almost exactly the same as it did a few weeks ago, just slightly longer. The baby that this is for may perhaps be born early, the mum is in a hospital on bed rest for the duration as her water broke at 23 weeks (5 weeks ago)and she went into labour. They were able to halt the labour and the baby is doing very well indeed, but could indeed still decide to make an early entrance.
I’m still listening to North and South onΒ Craftlit, and am now starting a new Ondaatje for my night time reading.
Oscar is quite pleased to have provided some ambiance to my photo today.
Oscar is mighty handsome!
Oscar is gorgeous. π
Love the photo and book title especially π And the blanket is a treasure in the making! xx
Such a cute blanket und a nice cat, too! I like both of them! michaela
Oscar is quite popular I see. You’ve a beautiful blanket and lovely cat! My children are crowded around here to see gorgeous Oscar.
You and your children are so very sweet. Oscar is (mostly!) a lovely boy. He has the loudest purr you’ve ever heard – they have trouble finding his heartbeat at the vet’s because as soon as you touch him he starts to rumble. When he gets in a certain mood however, it’s best to watch your ankles…. LOL!
Haha. Everything looks better with a cat on top of it.
Lovely blog, Caroline! What a treat to get to know you through Instagram and the blogging world. Enjoy a beautiful day.
beautiful blanket!!! I love your cat who is helping to showcase the blanket π
Oscar is adorable as is your baby blanket. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a story that did bring a smile to my face. How awful for you though, that would be a difficult thing to erase from your mind everytime you looked at your work.
