I finished Sarah’s socks last week! I immediately cast on a new pair with some beautiful hand dyed yarn from my very talented friend, Adrienne. I’m already almost to the toe and taught myself (with encouragement from Adrienne) the fish lips kiss heel construction. I have plans to stay up late tonight and finish the first one. I also had a stitching finish that I’ll write more about tomorrow, there’s a photo on IG over there ————->
Happy Wednesday everyone!
The socks are gorgeous (what yarn did you use?) and your knitting is so perfect, as is everything you do – do I sound jealous?? And the yarn for your next pair is scrumptious! 🙂
P.S. – congratulations on your ’12 days’ finish – looks great!
beautiful socks! hope we get to see the other ones too! the wool looks gorgeous!
am still attempting to make socks, my 1st one turned out but it didn’t fit, so now have another style on the needles on a slightly bigger needle
thanx for sharing
Oh Wooooow, your first pair, how awesome is that, what a great feeling, I remember it well. You should be very chuffed with such a lovely result.
I now make the rib section about 10cms long (and the plain part down to the heel a bit longer than that) so it can turn over and keep my skinny ankles warm and if left up it is really comfortable in my boots , for our version of cold.
